At PieceHouse, we love pushing boundaries and we wanted to do something a bit different, there are many round puzzles on the market so we didn't want to follow that path we wanted to lead the way with something unique. The hexagon shape came to mind, we looked into this further and saw that no one really was doing jigsaw puzzles as this shape so we were onto a winner.
Of course, turning that idea into a real puzzle product was no small feat. We spent over a year developing the product, with testing dielines and how we could customise it, testing out packaging ideas and how to make it is as unique as the puzzle. We kept developing and refining to make the perfect new product.
A special feature of the puzzle is the middle piece, our signature house piece in the centre which is a nod to PieceHouse itself and a small reminder of where our puzzles come from.
The final result? A beautifully engineered hexagon puzzle that feels familiar yet fresh, and one we’re proud to say is the first of its kind. It’s a shape that keeps puzzlers on their toes and celebrates what we love most — creativity, craftsmanship, and the joy of trying something new.
