What are you hoping 2022 will bring?
Hopefully lots of time spent with friends and family and the ability to travel!
What does Summer mean to you?
Summer always feels like lots of time spent outside! Spontaneous plans, days at the beach, and long nights catching up with friends.
Where is your favourite town/place to go in Summer?
I love being in Nelson over Summer. Growing up in Queenstown and not being remotely close to any beaches means I definitely don’t take the beautiful beaches in the Nelson/Tasman region for granted.
What is your favourite Summer activity?
I sound like a broken record but does going to the beach count as a summer activity? I also love the frequent bbq's and evenings spent outdoors.
What is your favourite Summer food?
I love summer bbq. I don’t eat meat but I’ve finally found some great veggie alternatives, I’m a big fan of a summer salad and all the stone fruit being in season.
What is your favourite ice-cream flavour?
Mint chocolate chip.
What will you be listening to this Summer?
My music taste absolutely varies depending on my mood but currently I’ve been very into Lime Cordiale, their music definitely feels like summer. I also love a bit of Allday, Dua Lipa, Anderson Paak and Taylor Swift.
What are some favourite Summer songs?
I feel like you can’t go past classic road trip songs over summer. Any good singalongs where everyone knows the words like Rocketman, Rebel Rebel and Cecilia.
Is there a song that you would love to be on the playlist that goes with your puzzle?
Very on the nose but I always think of ‘Seaside’ by the Kooks when I think of summer. Less on the nose but for some reason 'Leave The Door Open' gives me summery vibes.
